Dr Georgopoulos specialises in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast and face, microsurgery, fat grafting procedures, as well as tissue improvement through stem cells.

Dr Georgopoulos graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens in 2003 and completed his doctoral thesis in microsurgery with distinction at the same school.
He obtained his medical specialty at the Agios Savvas General Anticancer-Oncology Hospital of Athens, where he gained extensive experience in the treatment of burns, the removal of skin tumours and melanomas, as well as the reconstruction of nerves and other tissues of the face and body.
At the same time, he continued his training in aesthetic plastic surgery in Greece and abroad at recognised institutions, including the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Miami Breast Center in the USA.
He is a member of the European College of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (ECAMS), which enables him to remain informed about the latest developments and to maintain strong professional relationships and an ongoing exchange of views and techniques with distinguished doctors worldwide.
He has advanced expertise in breast surgery, both in aesthetic surgery and in oncoplastic reconstruction after mastectomy, and is a graduate of the Hellenic School of Mastology.
In his effort to remain at the forefront of developments in aesthetic plastic surgery, he also specialised in the emerging field of treatments using autologous fat and stem cells, which can help achieve a youthful yet natural appearance.
He follows all the latest developments in plastic surgery and anti-ageing in general. He stays continuously informed through active participation in conferences and educational seminars, both as an instructor and as a trainee. In 2011, at the 9th Panhellenic Congress of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, he was awarded the 1st “Georgios Polykratis” Prize.

Since 2024, he has been professionally active in Switzerland at the renowned Antiaging Medic Spa Chenot Palace Weggis, part of the world-famous Chenot brand. He has had the honour of leading the Aesthetic Medicine Department and providing aesthetic plastic surgery and anti-ageing services to a high-level international clientele in the Swiss Alps.
In addition, he is a member of the surgical team of the Surgical Oncology and Breast Reconstruction Clinic at Metropolitan General Hospital, under the direction of Dr Natasa Pazaiti, covering the full range of needs in plastic breast reconstruction.
